Flint Hills Daylily Society (FHDS) Manhattan, Kansas

The Flint Hills Daylily Society was formed in 1988, and is affiliated with the American Daylily (Hemerocallis) Society Region 11, located in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.  Annual FHDS membership dues are $10 for individuals.

 

Regular FHDS meetings occur on the first Monday of February, April, June and August; and a Fall Banquet scheduled in October.

 

Annual Events include a spring daylily sale at the Downtown Farmers Market,  tour of FHDS members' gardens, Daylily Daze at KSU Gardens and a Fall Banquet.

 

Typically, each meeting will include a program or speaker.  These may include local gardeners, daylily hybridizers from across the country, or gardening how-tos.

 

Another exciting part of each meeting-- the daylily drawings.  All FHDS members are eligible for the member drawings held in February, April, June, and August.  The Club purchases daylilies to be given out as drawing prizes at a discounted cost to members.  Choose your plant and your price!

 

Additionally, members can become eligible for the club participation drawing (June) if they meet specific criteria.  These daylilies are provided as a reward to those who contribute time and energy to the Club.
